were the first humans afraid of their reflections? what in nature produces a natural mirror, other than water? did they swat at their own image in fear or confusion? and what about names. i can understand naming things to make things easier to relay or remember so i guess naming people would be a no brainer especially with how big our egos are, we must’ve named ourselves first of all things! but honestly did the first person name themselves? did someone else name them? like a partner or child? and then did they proceed to name what followed, who was it who named first? aren’t early names just an early combination of things already names? like what if the first persons name just meant rock face because they had a rock face and now we have had that name passed down to become lost in translation and found as rogery, who knows! no actually, who does? because i would like to know!
